“Have it after training most days. So much lighter than my vanilla whey and doesn't sit on my stomach.”
The first high-EAA clear vegan protein. Drinks like juice. Goes easy on the gut. Delivers more of what your muscles need in every scoop.
There are nine amino acids you have to get from food — the essential amino acids (EAAs). They are used to make all other amino acids, and they're the switch that tells your muscles to repair and grow.
Plant protein is usually short on them. That's a big reason it underperforms. Nuscle isn't — it's loaded with them.

Clear protein is protein that's digested before it reaches you. It's broken down and filtered so it mixes like squash, not a thick and grainy shake. It's light to drink and it's even easier on your gut.
We then add loads of the nine amino acids your body can't make on its own, the stuff that actually matters. In a ratio formulated specifically for human muscle growth and support. Plant proteins are often low on these essential amino acids and usually very short on at least one. That's the main reason it works less well than whey. Loading them back in makes that gap disappear.
The result: You get a drink that absorbs faster, builds more muscle per gram, and doesn't slow you down.

Nuscle is the first high-EAA vegan clear protein, complete with all 9 essential amino acids in a patent-pending profile.
Seven grams in every ten are essential amino acids, the ones that build muscle. In whey protein it's four. In pea protein it's three. That's why one scoop does the job of 15g of whey, and 20g of pea.
It took two years to build, with researchers in the UK and the Netherlands. Rigorously tested by outside labs. And we drink it ourselves, every day.
Non-GMO and sustainably sourced. Nothing artificial, ever.
Here's everything in Nuscle.
EAA-enriched hydrolysed protein (Hydrolysed pea protein, hydrolysed rice protein, L-Leucine, L-Lysine, L-Isoleucine, L-Threonine, L-Histidine, L-Valine, L-Phenylalanine, L-Methionine, L-Tryptophan), citric acid, malic acid, L-ornithine, salt, silica, mct oil , sunflower lecithin, natural flavours, natural colours, monk fruit extract

Does plant protein actually build muscle as well as whey?
Yes — if the absorption and amino acids are right. Normal plant protein is hard to absorb and low in essential amino acids, particularly leucine. Leucine is the switch that turns muscle growth on, so plant protein usually falls behind whey.
Nuscle is pre-digested for easy absorption and adds leucine and the other EAAs back in. You get a lot more of them than whey gives you, without the dairy, the bloat or the thick texture.
Does it actually taste good?
Yes — and that's not just marketing. Clear protein's biggest advantage is flavour. It mixes like a fruit drink rather than a milky shake, and with all natural flavours.
Careful flavour-masking has been used to keep the refreshing fruitiness high and the protein taste low.
Will it bloat me?
Nuscle is specifically formulated to be easy on digestion. No dairy. No sugar-alcohols. Nothing fermentable. nothing artificial. Those four are what cause bloating in most proteins. We left them all out.
How many servings per bag?
There are 30 single doses in a bag, with each dose designed to match 20g of standard whey. We recommend a double dose after workouts or before sleep to hit the ceiling of what your muscles can use.
Can I take it on rest days?
Absolutely. Protein synthesis and muscle repair happen around the clock, not just on training days. Hitting your daily protein target consistently — including rest days — is one of the most important factors in long-term muscle retention and growth.
Is Nuscle suitable for vegans?
Yes — 100%. Nuscle contains no animal-derived ingredients whatsoever.

“First plant protein that's actually done anything for me lifting-wise”
“Dead easy to drink and feels much better on my tummy than others but would be better in sachets.”
“Recovery is better, not as sore days after the gym”

The research is clear: your protein's quality matters as much as how much you drink. Choose better proteins and you get more out of every gram.
Muscle protein synthesis (MPS) is the process your body uses to build new muscle. Measuring how much it rises after you drink protein tells us directly how much muscle you're actually building.
For 50 years, researchers have studied essential amino acids (EAAs) as the most powerful part of protein. More recently, they've studied EAA-enriched proteins to see if they build muscle faster, and in greater amounts, than regular whole protein.
One trial compared muscle protein synthesis after drinking either a complete protein or an EAA-enriched protein, using a blinded, randomised crossover design — a gold-standard format for fair comparison.

Building muscle is only half the story — protecting the muscle you already have is the other half. Measuring how much muscle protein breakdown slows down after eating protein shows us how much muscle is preserved. Together, growth and preservation determine your net protein balance: the balance between building muscle and losing it.
Studies consistently show that essential amino acid-enriched proteins reduce muscle breakdown more than whole protein does. This supports muscle growth by protecting the muscle you already have. The same results show up in older, ill, and physically stressed people — groups where muscle loss is a serious concern.
A randomised, blinded crossover trial compared the effects of complete protein versus EAA-enriched protein on muscle protein breakdown over 4.5 hours.

How fast protein is absorbed, and how digestible it is, really matters. Your muscles can only use protein while it's actually available in your bloodstream, so getting more of it broken down and freed up for absorption makes a real difference. On average, only 1 in 3 grams of whole plant protein is actually absorbed by the body. Absorption rate is measured by how much protein breaks down during digestion, and digestibility is measured by soluble protein content — how much protein has actually been freed up for your body to use.
The problem is the protein itself: free essential amino acids, the kind used to enrich our formula, are 100% bioavailable and are usually absorbed within 30 minutes. For decades, scientists have studied hydrolysis (breaking protein down into smaller pieces) for its ability to boost absorption and reduce digestive discomfort.

I'm Laurence. I'm a clinical physiologist and nutritionist who's spent over 10 years working for healthcare providers, helping people eat, move and feel better. I love this stuff.
After studying nutrition as a post-grad I knew protein inside out, but I still couldn't find a plant protein that got it right.
So I got together with a few researchers from the UK and the Netherlands, and we started building something that we would take ourselves. Two years later, we had Nuscle.

Plant and animal proteins are often low in essential amino acids, incomplete or poorly-digested. When you fix these issues, your muscles can do a lot more with every gram.
Much more of what muscles actually need, with nothing artificial or hard to digest.
*Park S. & Church D.D. et al. International Society of Sports Nutrition Journal, 2020. University of Arkansas. doi: 10.1186/s12970-020-0340-5

Roughly one in every three grams of whole plant protein goes unabsorbed due to poor bioavailability, low EAAs, and leftover nutrients slowing things down.
Nuscle solves this by pre-digesting the formula. The complete protein base is broken down and filtered before you even drink it. While the tiny free-form EAAs pass directly into your bloodstream with zero digestive effort.
This means easy digestion and full absorption. At whey speed, not plant-protein speed.
*Park S. & Church D. D. et al. International Society of Sports Nutrition Journal, 2020. University of Arkansas. doi: 10.1186/s12970-020-0340-5.

Roughly three hours after a protein dose, your muscles stop absorbing and responding to amino acids. This is called the muscle-full effect.
Good protein does three things. It lifts blood EAA levels quickly to trigger muscle processes. It holds them there for this whole window. Then it clears, so your muscles can reset for the next dose.
Whey fits this curve, but most plant protein fails all three. They digest too slowly, arrive late, and the slow drip blunts how well your muscles respond next time.
Nuscle runs two speeds at once. Free EAAs for the spike, complete hydrolysed protein for the hold.

More essential amino acids mean stronger signals to repair and build muscle, and more raw materials to actually do the job.
Matching whey's EAA profile has been shown to match its results, but Nuscle goes further—delivering over 50% more total EAAs.
With double the EAAs of regular pea protein, and in balanced ratio, so less powder delivers much more of what we know muscles actually need.
*Lim C. et al. Current Developments in Nutrition Journal, 2024. McMaster University. doi: 10.1016/j.cdnut.2024.103769.
Nuscle's formula is engineered to support muscle development even during aging, stress, dieting, or poor sleep. It includes twice the leucine of standard whey, the ideal 2:1:1 BCAA ratio and extra lysine — the critical amino acid that holds plant proteins back the most.

Your muscle responses are strictly capped by whichever essential amino acid you have least of. Run short on just one, and the rest go to waste.
This is why incomplete proteins underperform — research shows that even large doses barely lift muscle growth and preservation above baseline. Over time this means less muscle growth and more muscle loss.
Nuscle provides balanced ratios of all nine EAAs across its added EAAs and its complete protein base, to stop any single amino acid limiting your progress.

There is also a stock of all 11 non-essential amino acids, something most proteins don't have. Your body normally makes these itself, but stress, aging, dieting, hard training and poor sleep can slow production. Having them all there means that even if things aren't perfect, there's nothing silently holding you back.

Hydrolysed pea protein
Pea has one of the best plant-based amino acid profiles for human tissues. Ours is pre-fermented and broken-down through hydrolysis so that more can be used and absorbed. Non-GMO and always tested for purity and contamination.
Hydrolysed rice protein
Included to fill pea protein's key amino acid gaps like methionine and cysteine. Creating a full profile of all 20 amino acids, much better than pea alone. Again, it's pre-fermented, hydrolysed, non-GMO and always tested.
Essential amino acids
The 9 that your body can't make but desperately needs. Vegan, and in a patent-pending ratio. Creating a high-EAA and complete profile that's designed to be the best, even for those who are older, dieting, training hard, or overstressed.
Salt
The sodium in salt has key roles in hydration and electrolyte balance — especially during exercise. We use a very small amount in salt form to help mask bitter amino acids and bring out those fruity flavours.
L-ornithine
A key non-essential amino acid in our bodies, known to reduce fatigue by helping us clean waste products from our cells. It's also a potent bitter-blocker, which we use in Nuscle to balance the taste profile.
Silica
Silica is a critical mineral for our bones, connective tissues, skin, hair, and nails. We use it to control foaming and keep the powder flowing freely.
Sunflower lecithin
A healthy fat sourced from sunflower seeds known to benefit heart and brain health. We use it to coat and granulise some of the Nuscle's ingredients, helping them dissolve and mix cleanly into water with minimal clumping or residue.
Natural flavours
Flavour extracts from real fruit to give a clean, refreshing taste without artificial flavouring compounds. If we don't want to eat them, we don't want it in Nuscle.
Natural colours
Plant-derived colourants like yellow-orange curcumin and red-purple anthocyanins. No synthetic dyes. If we don't want to see them on the back, we didn't want you to either.
MCT oil
Medium-chain triglycerides are fast-digesting healthy fats from coconut. They ignore normal digestion and are quickly used for ketone energy — leading to research into its effects on brain function. In Nuscle, we use it as a natural anti-foaming agent.
Citric acid
The most common acid in lemons, but also used in our bodies for energy production and many other processes. We use it to balance flavour, foaming and acidity — giving Nuscle its light, refreshing finish.
Malic acid
The most common acid in apples, already used in our bodies to clear waste products out of cells and tissues. Naturally it has a softer, more-rounded tang. It works with citric acid to create a smoother flavour.
Monk fruit
A natural, zero-calorie sweetener made from monk fruit. Studied for its positive effect on blood pressure. It gives a clean sweetness without sugar, anything artificial, or that stevia aftertaste.
Nuscle is the first vegan, EAA-enriched clear protein — created as a juice-style, all-natural, gut-friendly alternative to heavy shakes. It's easy to drink and doesn't cause the bloating that can come with dairy and other plant proteins.
It contains all 9 essential amino acids in a patent-pending ratio, with fast absorption and high bioavailability thanks to its ultra-hydrolysed protein base.
It delivers an EAA content 50% higher than whey. This gives it a major edge over most other plant and animal proteins, which are often slower to digest, less bioavailable, and either incomplete or relatively low in EAAs.
Some of our team members have sensitive stomachs, so Nuscle is formulated to be as gut-friendly as possible.
Nuscle contains no sugar alcohols, artificial additives, FODMAPs, or other fermentable fibres or starches. The protein base is pre-digested through hydrolysis, making it lighter and easier on the digestive system.
Nuscle is for anyone who struggles to find protein that gives results, without compromising on texture, bloating, or something else.
It works for:
So if you're done with grainy textures, artifical sweetness, and protein that feels like a punishment — Nuscle is for you.
Meal top-ups: Single doses can significantly improve the protein quality of a meal that is incomplete, low in protein, or otherwise poor in protein quality.
Between-meal snacks:A single dose between meals provides a strong muscle signal, then leaves the blood so your muscles can reset before your next meal.
During workouts:One dose can help reduce muscle breakdown during intense or long sessions.
After workouts: A full dose has the quality and quantity to maximise post-workout muscle synthesis during the immediate post-workout window.
Before bed: A full dose can help maximise muscular uptake of EAAs in the first hours of sleep, supporting muscle repair for the rest of the night.
In general, we recommend building consistent habits by using Nuscle at roughly the same times each day, such as topping up breakfast, filling the gap between lunch and dinner, or using it after every workout.
Nuscle is a juice-style clear protein drink, not a creamy shake. It has a lighter texture, a cleaner finish, and a flavour profile designed to feel refreshing rather than rich.
We’ve also steered away from the sickly sweetness common in many protein drinks. We went for a fresher, zingier approach inspired by fruit squash. This gives Nuscle its balanced fruity flavour with a light tang that helps mask any lingering ingredient notes.
